FORESTRY COMMISSION SIGNS MOU WITH CEIEC FROM CHINA

The forestry Commission of Ghana led by Mr. Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie signed an Agreement with the China National Electronic Export and Import Corporation (CEIEC) on the 22nd of January 2019 at the Boardroom of the Forestry Commission HQ.

Present at the signing were the CE of FC, Mr. Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie; Vice President of CEIEC, Mr. Liu Zhirong, Director of CPME, Mr. Cudjoe Awudi, EMT members, Media persons and other staffers of the FC and was moderated by Mr. Joseph Yaw Oppong (PR. WD).

The activities of the park shall be sourced from Investment entities led by the Bureau and it is estimated to cost Three billion, five hundred USD (3.5 Billion USD). The Objectives of the Project are well situated within the 2012 Forest and Wildlife policy of Ghana and have the potential to inject further impetus into the implementation of the sustainable development agenda of the country.
