INTRODUCTION
 
 
Project Name: integrating civil society in timber validation processes for improved governance and reduced illegal logging under the European Union and Ghana Voluntary Partnership Agreement
Project Objective: Testing integration of collaborative forest management structures (CRMCs and Forest Forum) in the EU Ghana FLEGT VPA implementation process to enhance overall forest governance leading to improved monitoring and validation of timber harvesting as contribution to sustainable forest management.
Implementing Agency: The Resource Management Support Centre (RMSC) of the Forestry Commission.
Funding: FAO/FORESTRY COMMISSION EUROPEAN UNION /ACP FLEGT
Target group(s): Civil Society Organisations, Forestry Forum, CRMCs, TAs, etc.
